How should I store my treats and what’s their shelf-life?
In a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Our DEHYDRATED treats can stay fresh for up to a guaranteed 8 months as we only use natural products, no chemicals, preservatives or additives are used in our products. This excludes BAKED PRODUCTS, our cookies and bites as we can only guarantee a shelf life of 1-2 months. This also depends on how you store them and your environment, we recommend refrigeration.
Just because you know the shelf life, we do recommend you don’t let the treats sit there for 8 months, we do make them as fresh as we can to insure the best product goes out to your pooch. As per our disclaimer - You assume all liability for your pet and the treatment of your pet.
The label shows this was dehydrated a month ago.. Is this okay?
Yes, our packaged products stored in a cool dry place can last at least 8 months. There is no moisture in it anymore so it can last long on your shelf, provided you store it correctly.
How do I know your “Dog Safe Peanut Butter” is actually dog safe?
We at Hazel’s Pantry use Mayver's Rover's Reward Natural Dog Peanut Butter which is;

Are these treats suitable for puppies?
Yes, as we use natural ingredients, our treats are completely safe for puppies. We recommend trying our sample packs to help your pup choose some favourites. If you are concerned please consult in a professional, such as your vet.
How many treats do you recommend?
Small Dogs: 3-4 treats a day
Medium Dogs: 4-6 treats a day
Large Dogs: 6-8 treats a day
What are the shipping rates?
Shipping is a flat rate of $12.00 across Australia and we ship Australia Wide. It is between $20.00 - $75.00 outside of Australia depending on location, we understand these numbers are high, however they are unfortunately out of our control.
Our Courier is Australian Post at this time.
By default, signature on delivery is NOT required. If you wish to sign for your package, please specify in the order notes.
Please allow 12-24 hours processing time before your order is dispatched.
If you would like a shipping time estimate, please contact us at info@hazelspantry.com however once Australian Post has your package they should be sending you updates.
What if my order arrives damaged or I am unsatisfied with my products?
We at Hazel’s Pantry stand behind all our products 100% and if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately after receiving your order for store credit or replacement instructions. If something is damaged during transit we take no responsibility and you will need to discuss the matter with Australian Post.
